AS Motor Sherpa Ride-On Flail Mowers – FAQ

Q1: What is the AS Motor Sherpa Series?
A: The AS Motor Sherpa Series is a professional line of ride-on and remote-controlled flail mowers designed for steep slopes, rough terrain, and commercial landscaping in the UK. Models include 2WD and 4WD options, petrol or electric engines, and high-performance flail decks.

Q2: Can the Sherpa mower be used remotely?
A: Yes. Certain Sherpa models, such as the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD RC, offer full remote-control operation, allowing safe mowing on steep slopes or hard-to-reach areas without the operator being on the machine.

Q3: What terrains can the Sherpa Series handle?
A: Sherpa mowers are built for uneven, steep, and challenging landscapes. 4WD models handle slopes up to 45°, and flail decks mulch thick grass, scrub, and rough vegetation efficiently across UK estates, parks, and commercial sites.

Q4: What are the key specifications of the Sherpa mowers?
A: Specifications vary by model, but common features include hydrostatic drive for smooth speed control, cutting widths from 90 cm to 140 cm+, heavy-duty flail or brush decks, petrol or electric engines, and remote operation on select models.

Q5: Why choose AS Motor Sherpa over other ride-on mowers?
A: Sherpa mowers combine professional durability, slope-handling capability, and remote-control operation. They are designed specifically for UK commercial and estate landscaping, offering safety, efficiency, and high-quality mulching where standard ride-on mowers cannot perform.

Q6: Are Sherpa mowers available in the UK?
A: Yes. zeroturns.co.uk supplies the full Sherpa Series across the UK. You can contact Zeroturns for pricing, demos, or advice on choosing the right model for your terrain.

Q7: Can Sherpa mowers handle long, high grass?
A: Absolutely. The heavy-duty flail decks cut and mulch long, dense grass, scrub, and overgrown vegetation, making Sherpa mowers ideal for large estates, commercial grounds, and rough terrain.

Q8: Is maintenance difficult for the Sherpa Series?
A: No. Sherpa mowers are designed for professional use with accessible service points, durable components, and low-maintenance engines. Regular blade checks and basic upkeep keep the mower operating efficiently.
